Mrs Vernon will be attending a Leadership Course for Headteachers in Swansea. The course will take place on Wednesday through to Friday. Mrs Potter will be available in the office.
May we please remind you all that dinner money should be paid weekly in a green envelope, clearly marked with your child's name, class and amount. Please ask you child's class teacher to check in the dinner register so that you can pay any amounts outstanding, as we have to answer to County for each dinner.
Mr Brown will be attending Teaching and Learning Pedagogy course this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - This will help with next years teaching of Foundation Phase in Years 1 and 2.
Could we remind you that healthy snack money is 80p per week. Please give it to your child's teacher or the office. Children are also allowed to bring small bottles of water to school, which can be refilled from the fountains. This means the children always have access to cool, filtered water throughout the day.
Children in Reception will be watching "Tales from Small Nations" on Wednesday.
May we remind you that in line with our healthy schools initative, no sweets in lunch boxes and please put no more than one chocolate biscuit per child.
The PTA are now looking at prices for a soft tarmac area at the front of the school.
Can you all please remind your child that should they be upset with another child on the playground that they are to put their hand up in a stop position and say "Stop you are hurting my feelings" This is to encourage them to deal with feelings of anger or frustration in a positive way.
Please don't forget to telephone school if your child is absent. Please do leave a message on the answering machine - we listen to them regulary. Thank you.

The PTA will be holding a meeting tonight at 7:30pm. All are welcome as always, even if you have never attended before, so please join us!
We will once again be trying to hold another Car Boot Sale on Sunday 11th May (weather permitting!). The cost is £5 per vehicle, 50p on foot per adult, children free. Refreshments avaliable. As before, if there is heavy rain overnight or on the day, we will postpone to a later date.
Our PTA will be supporting the National PTA "Join in Day" in June by having a copper trail in the playground spelling out "Bodnant PTA". So save your 1p's and 2p's (and larger coins if you wish!!) and help us to raise as much as we can for school.
If we have any parents who work for RBS or HBOS, did you know that you can nominate you child's school for a grant for playground improvements? Please ask your employer for more details. Thank you.
Fundraising websites - please use them to support your PTA.
http://www.easysearch.org.uk - 1p from every search you make is donated to us. We have already raised £21 through just two people using the page to search the net.
http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk - Many High Street Stores will donate a percentage of your order value (at no extra cost to you) to the PTA if you order from them using this link, it's that easy! We have already raised over £60.
REMEMBER TO SWIPE THE BODNANT CARD IF YOU BUY FUEL FROM TEXACO ON MARINE ROAD.
