Our School Ethos
We are a family in school and we are learning together: this means we aim to develop your child to their full potential in a happy, safe, secure environment.
We are proud to be entrusted with the vital early years care of the children who attend our school.
Bodnant Buddies
We have Bodnant Buddies in our school who are Year 2 children. Their role is to care for and help other children in the playground. Bodnant Buddies wear a special bid which is fluorescent yellow so that the other children know who to approach if they have no one to play with or have hurt themselves.
School Council
We have a School Council which is made up of 12 Year 2 children who have been chosen by the teachers and elected by the children. Their role is to help Mrs Vernon with the running of the school making important decisions about how to raise money and how to spend it!! The School Council send out questionnaires to the other children before any big decisions are made.
Our School Prayer
Dear Jesus,
This is our school,
Let peace live here,
Let the rooms be full of happiness,
Let love be all around,
Love of one another,
Love of all people,
And love of life and living.
Let us remember that,
As many hands buils a house,
So many hearts build a school.
Amen
Our Dinner Time Prayer
Diolch i Ti am y byd,
Diolch am ein bwyd bod pryd,
Diolch am yr haul a'r glaw,

Respect Poem
The nicest words I know are these,
Excuse me, thak you, of course, please.
I try to use them every day,
Whatever other words I say.
We should respect those we are with,
Kindness, helpfulness, politeness we should give.
If you respect the people around you,
They'll have no problem respecting you too.
The nicest words I know are these,
Excuse me, thak you, of course, please.
I try to use them every day,
At home, at school and when I play.
