Notices School Council/Bodnant Buddies

Ice Lolly Treat

Mrs Vernon has treated all the children who have been on 'green' all week for their behaviour to an ice lolly this afternoon.

The School Council's job has been to phone up Iceland to find out the best deals. They then had to calculate how many boxes would be needed and order the lollies.

We are painting our canteen
The school council have chosen pictures drawn by the children for artists to paint on the canteen walls.

Bodnant Buddies Report To Mrs Vernon
The Bodnant Buddies have been busy reporting to Mrs Vernon about what happens on the playground during play/dinner time. Then Mrs Vernon can monitor any problems and be aware of and reward good behaviour. The Bodnant Buddies will then report to the whole school during our Celebration assembly on Fridays.

Meeting of Councillors

We met today to find out which healthy snack the children had voted for.  The results were:

cheese and crackers

breadsticks

melon

apples

grapes

So after half term we will all be having the above as our healthy snacks.

Meeting of Councillors



School Council
Our School Council wrote to Mr Huw Griffiths about the state fo the Early Years toilets and were delighted to receive a reply.  We will be having new toilets by the end of the Summer term 07.  Our Council members, Lewis, Melissa, Molly and Bronya meet on a regular basis with myself and Mrs Winstanley a school Governor.  They are now deciding which fruit to have for next term, with the help of a questionnaire form the children.  # Posted by Mrs H Vernon at 29/11/06; 4:56:04 PM to the Notices School Council dept.
