Attendance
Good attendance and punctuality are important at Bodnant Infants. If your child is absent, please inform the School by letter or telephone as soon as possible. Taking children on holiday during term-time is not encouraged, but in cases where this is unavoidable a holiday form must be completed and returned to the child’s class-teacher. All late arrivals and absences will be marked on the child’s annual report. Children should be collected from school at the end of the day by a named person.
The average attendance for 2003/04 was 76%, with no unauthorised absences. Mrs. Cotgreave’s class won the Lawrence Attendance Shield.
